It has been over two years since the Museum’s closing on March 21, 2021 during COVID-19, and reopened our doors in April 2023. There have been several events and programs since then.

Current featured exhibition are New Mi’kmaq collections, Vikings corner exhibition, Military exhibition, Early Medicine in Caribou, a Quilting Corner, and Caribou Churches The Caribou Historical Society will be celebrating its 50th year since its formation on October 7, 1974.
Going forward in 2024-25, we hope to see more volunteers to support and contribute towards programming, advocacy and fundraising projects. We are grateful for our senior docents at the Museum on Saturday and hope to recruit more!
We are currently working on building repairs and improvements and grounds upkeep so that we may continue to preserve your collections and making our them available to the community. But all these require funds, and we need support. Your membership is vital to us.
